Special Sessions

Special Sessions organisation is highly encouraged. The goal of these special sessions is to provide a forum for focused discussions on new topics or innovative applications of established approaches within the theme of the conference. Sessions of similar topics may be proposed, if needed we will schedule them at different slots over the conference period.

Special Sessions

Each organised special session should have a minimum of 8 registered papers.

The session organisers have full authority in soliciting and accepting papers for the session. Each session is limited to no more than 4 organisers, and the session organiser can designate a chair and a co-chair for the session. The allocated presentation time for each paper is 15 minutes, which includes the time for questions from the audience.

An honorarium of 10% of the total registration amount collected for the registered paper in that special session will be provided to the session organiser

(please note that a minimum of 8 papers should be registered and presented (either online or offline) to run a special session).

Please submit your special session proposals by email to the conference chairs at

The proposals should include:

Special Session Title

A short description (2-3 lines) & covered topics

Session organiser(s) with their affiliation

All the special session proposals will be reviewed by conference organisers and TPC chairs and the accepted proposal will be notified to the organisers within one week from the submission date. Once the proposal is accepted, it will appear under this tab with the special session name and their organisers.

Important Notes

  • Authors submitting papers for any of the proposed special sessions should mention in the paper header the special session number and name while submitting the paper. A dedicated track is created for each special session in the CMT, authors submitting papers to any of the special sessions are requested to choose the respective tracks for submitting their papers for the corresponding special sessions. Special Session organisers are requested to communicate the same to their authors while doing publicity for their session.
  • If for a special session, the number of received papers is less than 8, then all those papers in that special session will be considered as a regular submission.
